Accoya® as a timber for the next generations
Accoya timber combines high durability, extreme dimensional stability and high surface quality. A window from Accoya timber is durable for the next generations, also due to the absolute natural modification process.
Accoya® as a certified timber for windows
The “Gütegemeinschaft Fenster und Haustüren e.V.” tested together with the ift Rosenheim the features and functions of Accoya. It has been approved as “Timber species for the timber window construction, modified timber” and is recorded into the VFF HO.06, part 4.
Accoya® as a durable and sustainable timber for windows
Accoya is a rapidly growing pine (Radiata pine) and is cultivated in certified plantations. The pine is modified with pure, natural vinegar (oder acid) concentrate.
Accoya achieves best thermal insulation values for timber windows by the excellent thermal conductivity value. This saves permanently energy. The maintenance efforts are reduced significantly.
The well-known lacquer brand manufacturers tested Accoya intensively.
The results are a long-term guarantee for the surface and a long maintenance interval. This leads to a cost reduction for window maintenance.
